Sustainable Manufacturing

Cocoon’s EcoSilk™ is extracted and purified using an industrial and sustainable process. Currently at kilogram scale, our unit operations can be directly scaled to support a wide range of products in multiple industries. The proprietary manufacturing method reproducibly generates silk fibroin of the highest purity in the industry. Implementing recycling steps has enabled Cocoon to not only further reduce manufacturing cost but also to enable sustainable production.
